When all the "serious" racing was over, our disappointment in having just one win, apart from Tom's, was dispelled by hearing the news that we were third in the world in the men's victor ludorum, where composite crews do not count, so all those second, third and fourth places and all our other placings counted for something. A few days later it was discovered that Occoquan International had been removed from second place, presumably on the recognition that their crews were international composites. Thus Quintin finished the SECOND TOP MEN'S MASTERS CLUB IN THE WORLD, second only to the ridiculously successful Moscow Dynamo.
