"Quintin, starting at 43, led Wisconsin, at 40, by a length at the quarter mile and Barrier. Wisconsin then edged back, but did not draw level until just before the Mile. They then moved ahead fast, to lead by three quarters of a length at the mile and an eighth, going on to win, by the same margin, in record time." [HRR]
