Victores Ludorum at Maidenhead Regatta 1979. The captain wields the Wilkinson Sword Trophy, reminiscent of King Canute perhaps. Quintin won Elite coxless pairs, Senior C coxed fours and Veteran coxless fours. Senior C fours coach Stuart Mitchell holds a fours trophy whilst Roger Brookes (front) seems to have picked up three pots. Note the quart tankards for elite events.
