The Thames Towpath Ten - April 6th 2008.
Peter Brown of West 4 Harriers and chief race organiser, marshals at the finish, while Graham Lloyd acts as an independent observer (spectator). The field next to the boathouse acts as the start and finish for the race. Each competitor was given a beer glass and a banana. Due to the inclement weather, many competitors did not start and there were several hundred bananas left when everyone had finished.
