The final of the Stewards Cup, Henley Royal Regatta, Saturday, 3rd July 1965
Quintin B.C. beating Nautilus Club, the verdict easily, breaking the Barrier, Fawley and Finish records along the way. Their times were 1.59, 3.22 and 6.55. This was the first time a four had reached the barrier in under two minutes and the finish in under seven minutes. To quote the Henley records, "Quintin were outstanding. In their race on Friday, though not pressed by Thames, they equalled the Record to the Barrier and made a new Record to Fawley. On Saturday, though winning easily, they set up new records to the Barrier, Fawley and the Finish."
