The Quintin Masters E VIII, dubbed by some the "supervets", finished 81st in 12 min. 35.0 sec, including a penalty they incurred by disregarding navigation rules at the Chiswick crossing point on their return to the boathouse. Despite this they won the Masters E pennant.
