This image of Stanley Hart was, we believe, taken when he was boating for the Wingfield Sculls in 1925. In that year Hart was the sole challenger to Jack Beresford, who had won the event five years running from 1920 to 1924. Unfortunately, Beresford won by 'about 25 lengths'.
